Don Huggins and Debbie Baker returned to Haiti in Jan. 2014 to give a 2nd Aquatic Ecology workshop for the Ministry of the Environment of the South Dept. While there they investigated the lake Etang Laborde for future study.

Huggins and Baker receive Haiti pilot study funds

Dr. Donald Huggins and Debbie Baker of the Central Plains Center for BioAssessment at KBS received funding to perform a pilot study on a lake and several streams near Les Cayes Haiti. Funds came from the KU International Programs Travel Fund and the KU Unclassified Senate Professional Development Fund. Read more.
