Kansas City Missouri Urban Streams
|Date||February 2007 - January 2008|
City of Kansas City, Missouri
|Location||Kansas City, MO|
In 2007 we monitored 7 stream sites for the Kansas City Missouri Storm Water Utilities for MS4 compliance with KCMO Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Permit. CPCB performed habitat assessment, field water quality testing, benthic macroinvertebrate collection, laboratory processing and identification, data analysis, and report writing.
We are not permitted to release the data, but contact Debbie Baker if you have any questions.
Monitoring was based on Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) protocols that include Stream Habitat Assessment (dated June 20, 2003); Semi-Quantitative Macroinvertebrate Stream Bioassessment (dated June 20, 2003); Taxonomic Levels for Macroinvertebrate Identifications (dated May 31, 2005), and Biological Criteria for Wadeable/Perennial Streams of Missouri (dated February 2002). These are available at our library webpage.
For information about the report, contact Kansas City Missouri Storm Water Utilities.
